Welcome
to Georgia Biker Bashes. Our goal is to give you complete
coverage of the local Ga. biker scene. We will be hitting local rallies,
runs and bars and posting our reports and pictures from them. You will not
find a bunch of fluff articles nor coverage of large corporate rub fests.
You will only find stories by local bikers about local bikers. We need you to
contribute. If you like to write and have a decent camera, send in an article and it
just may get posted here.
Hi all, Trike girl here. I loved reading your posts. I am clean & sober as well. I had a slip after 12-years clean time (this was a while back) and as a result of that slide, my beloved custom trike was stolen and chopped. It was a rude awakening, a lesson hard learned. Now I am back doing the meetings and working the Steps with my sponsor. Life is good again. I hope to have another trike built next Summer. I was very fortunate that nothing horrendous happened to me. Loosing the trike was a real blow, but at least I am here to talk about it. It's amazing what a slip can do. It feels wonderful to be right squarely back on track again.
Peace,
Trike girl
Hey now, look at ya'all get it. One day at a time. Congrats to ya Trike Girl. I'm gettin the Shovel ready for the run down to Daytona in March. Life is good an I'll keep on keepin on. LTR
Hey Trike girl call me Art. I don't know what is up with the photos I posted. They didn't post so I re posted them. You will get a kick outta them though. How many meetings you go to a week? Me 3 or 4. I've got 41/2 years but the reality is that I have just one day. I have a good sponcer and am on the 9Th step at the moment. I figure the longer it takes to do them the longer I'll be sober. Fly me a kite and drop in on bikernet some time. good place to hang out. It's run by Keith Ball. he was the original editor of Easy Riders mag back when it was a kickin rag. LTR
Hey Trikegirl, Glad to hear that you are back with the program. It does remind me that none of us are safe from this disease. I've got 12 yrs now, but the day that counts is today.
Hey Art, thanks you! I couldn't see the pic of the shovel. I am not yet a gold member so I can't really write back to you . Love to see the scoot. Trike Girl
